Dementia and Alzheimers effect people with a learning disability and many rely upon us to identify the early signs in order to get the best support.
The Alzheimer’s Society produce a wide range of publications designed to support and inform anyone affected by dementia. You will find information about all aspects of dementia, including the different types and causes and aspects of treatment, living with dementia or caring for someone with dementia on their website www.alzheimers.org.uk

Equipment to make life easier
There are many ove the counter products that can be bought at low cost that may help a person to stay independent (and lessen the risk of an accident).
