Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids' Clubs

Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs exists to help communities in Wales by promoting,  developing and supporting quality, affordable, accessible out of school childcare clubs.

Out of school childcare clubs provide safe, affordable and accessible provision at either end of the school day and during the school holidays for school aged children and young people aged 3 – 14 and enable parents to go to work or attend training (16 years of age if they have specific needs).

Clybiau Plant Cymru Kids’ Clubs also delivers a comprehensive programme of training and
workshops to committees, Playworkers and potential playworkers and directly to children
in clubs. This includes an Equal Opportunities course which includes supporting disability in
clubs and Playing Fair, a workshop for children in clubs. Play activity packs provide practical ideas to deliver inclusive activities in clubs.

Development officers also signpost clubs to local grants – where available – to support children with disabilities/specific needs to access and participate fully in a childcare club within their own community if a one to one playworker is needed.
