Down's Heart Group (DHG)

Down’s Heart Group provides information and support to families and carers of people with
Down’s Syndrome who have a life-threatening congenital heart defect. Information is provided in parent-friendly language via our website, newsletters, information packs, telephone helpline, email and listserv and through their promotional DVD. They raise awareness through working with other groups, schools and the media, social networking and involvement in the training of medical professionals. DHG also provides representation and advocacy through attending and contributing to conferences, events and committees and through collaborative working with staff from the 11 children’s heart units across the UK.

They also have a presence on Facebook and Twitter and links with many other groups both in the UK and internationally.
