In Control

In Control is a national charity. Its mission is to create a fairer society where everyone needing
additional support has the right, responsibility and freedom to control that support.

As the pioneers of the concept of self-directed support, personal budgets and direct payments,
In Control works alongside the government, local authorities, health and other organisations
to drive the agenda forward. It also works directly with individuals and families to provide
support, information and advice in relation to self-directed support and personalisation.
