Incontinence Help and Supplies

The Primary, Community and Intermediate Care Team at the Cardiff & Vale University Health Board are able to provide families with incontinence help and supplies.

Everyone is entitled to a continence assessment which should be reviewed annually. After initial assessment, treatments and programmes of toilet training will be looked at and then the use of management. There are alternative management options available such as the use of pads and sheaths.

Assessment is crucial to gaining the service! Annual reviews are also a must to look at any changes in circumstances.
