Parent/Carer Support Groups For Early Years Children with Additional Needs

The groups listed below are supported by the Early Years Education Transition Worker who
can provide information on a child’s educational needs. These groups are an opportunity for mother and child to make new friends. Activities are provided and siblings are welcome to attend.

Down’s Syndrome Friendship Group (Mondays)
This group meets bi-monthly on Mondays
from 10.30 – 11.45 am at the
St David’s Children’s Centre

This group is supported by the Special Needs Health Visitor.

Parent’s Support Group for Children with Autism Disorders /Additional Needs (Tuesdays)
The group meets on a Tuesday,
from 10.00 am – 11.30 am at
Cardiff Shortbreaks

The Group meets on Fridays
from 10.00 – 11.00 am at
Tremorfa Nursery School
