INC. Youth Theatre

INC. Youth Theatre at Sherman Cymru is a new and exciting venture for the theatre.

This group will provide a safe and creative environment where enthusiastic and highly committed young people (with and without learning disabilities) can learn about performance in a professional theatre.  Through the process of participatory workshops and public performances, not only valuable performance skills are developed but also confidence and social skills with other like minded young people.  

The INC. Youth Theatre takes place at the theatre on Monday evenings throughout the term (10 weeks).

Anyone aged between 15 and 18yrs old with an enthusiasm and passion for theatre is eligible to apply for the INC. youth theatre. If you are applying for a place, you must fulfill the below criteria:   

 The young person should be able to:

• Be in the rehearsal room without additional support (although parents/carers can be near by in the foyer in case of emergency). 
• Express that they wish to be in the group with other young people
• Express the desire to want to perform to an audience 

Current fees are only £30 per term and must be paid before the start of every term. We also offer limited FREE places for those who are eligible due to personal circumstance. These must be applied for in writing.
