The Equality and Human Rights Commission

The Equality and Human Rights Commission champions equality and human rights for all, working to eliminate discrimination, reduce inequality, protect human rights and to build good relations, ensuring that everyone has a fair chance to participate in society.

The Commission’s work is underpinned by the belief that they can only deliver their aims by engaging with others. Partnership working is at the heart of everything they do and why the Wales Committee has focussed on building strong working relationships with organisations and individuals. The Commission’s Wales Committee is responsible for ensuring the overall work of the Commission reflects the needs and priorities of Wales.
