Welsh Sports Association for People with Learning Disabilities (WSAPLD)

The Association aims to provide the opportunity for people with learning difficulties to take
part in sporting events, including swimming and athletics.

There are three regional levels comprising South Wales, Mid and West Wales, and North Wales.

Competitive sport events are arranged at local, county, regional and national levels through Special Schools, Hospitals and Centres. The Welsh Special Games are held annually and each region acts as host every third year.
